If you see someone on here you know, I.e work in the same office.....is it etiquette to mention it to them?

Story is I've seen someone on here that works in my office, sadly I'm out of her age range! But didn't know if saying something was a no go area......what's people's thoughts?

I've seen a few I know on here and two have recognised me also and mentioned it to me. Think it depends on the individual really

My opinion is that what happens on fab stays on fab. Block her and never EVER mention it.

Seen a few out over the years, i take the line that fabs or clubs should stay that way.

Unless they acknowledge you too just smile and walk on.

Ignore and block, I certainly would never mention it to someone I knew, particularly a work colleague. It could cause massive issues of she takes offence to you doing so.

We know quite a lot of people from out normal lives who are on here, but unless it's mentioned to us first we never say anything, it's their private life too.

Agree with everyone else, never EVER mention it - discretion is the key to everything here. Ask yourself how you'd feel if it was the other way round and someone recognised you and was indiscreet about it in any way.

That's before you get onto questions of awkwardness in the work place, or things like the other person or you getting promoted and possible conflicts of interest etc.

Best thing you can do is forget about it and move on.

I work in a very public job and have had an issue where someone i chatted to on here decided it would be cool to call me by my screen name at work x NOT COOL was my boss was standing behind him x as he was trying to mention what he wanted to do. All I said was that is private and this is not the place.
