I've just turned 41 which seems to be a benchmark for swingers. I now can't email half the couples I used to chat to as they have an upper age limit of 40!
I still feel the same as I did a few weeks ago, this ageism!!

Think you need to be friends to over come the age restrictions. So it's those I have occassional chats with that I'm now outside of.
All good fun though, I'm coming to terms with my veteran status!

I recently changed mine from 30-48 to 32-48... And 30 year olds I have had contact with can still mail me. We are not friends. |

I know this is a tongue in cheek thread and the op is just joking but quite a few people complain that their age is holding them back not just here but in all walks of life. That's a shame because it's something you can't change (well, we all know some do  ) and you will never be any younger than you are now. Learn from the past, look to the future, live in the present.

Always wondered the same myself I find very few guys my age or older have any interest in me but I get hundreds of mail from young guys
It's really hard to find meets when 99% of the guys who mail you aren't what your looking for and the guy you do like and mail don't mail you back |

Jesus you people (women) just arent listening to him are you?? Hes not asking how good sex is after 40 or amazing your life got after 40 etc. He cant get a meet for love nor money cos you all dont wanna meet a guy over 40! So how about addressing that instead of wandering off on irrelevant tangents?? |

I'm 52 tomorrow , ..I'm always surprised how many folk seem to focus on those who exclude them .. .age excludes me along with other factors that I can't control , look for those who includeyou in their preferences..   |

I have a preference for guys around my age so have never had a problem until today when I went to message a couple age 39 and 41 and found I was 11 years too old hehe |

Well 41 that really is completely past your prime all down hill from here on..
But for me each year that is added to my age seems to ensure more enjoyment.
Ignore the number, it's only that a number, it's how you live your life that defines you, think young, keep active, make others smile (hopefully they will return the favour) |

It's Ageism that's what it is! Quick call the 'Umin Roights Lawyers we should sue.
Seriously age is just a number, if you are in shape, got your own teeth and hair (extensions notwithstanding) and have a lovely smile and personality we are all good with that. Good conversation would be a bonus!

I'm hotter at 43 than I was at 42 and I intend to be hotter, slimmer and fitter at 45 than I am today.
I'm certainly having more fun this year than I did last year, or in the last 5 years.
A lot of that is down to my attitude. |
