Which Messaging App ?

Hello. My husband and I currently use WhatsApp to chat with friends and family. We also use this from time to time to chat with lifestyle friend, however we would like to use a seperate messaging app for swinging chat in order to avoid the dreaded "whoops I've just sent a pic of my tits to my work collesgue" lol.
Do swingers have a preferred messaging app ? I've heard a lot of folk mention KiK ? All advice appreciated. X |

I would say Kik as its really easy to use and it's what most people seem to have, I used what's app when I first joined but didn't like always giving out my number and was asked a few times if I had kik so I got it, all you do is create a username and people add you. I have recently also got Skype but don't use it as much. Some people on here don't use either and won't speak to people who even ask about it but we are all different I would say give it a go and see what you think ? If you don't like you just deleted it  |

Exactly this. No number just a username. Really good msging app is kik. Can send pics vids and live vids. X |

i prefer on here. i don't like being accessed if i'm busy studying and when i'm finished i'll forget someone has messages me (if i even notice in the first place lol). |

As a couple we both have single profiles also. When i created mine i realised giving them Mr WD's number was not appropriate so i got KIK, i love it purely because i don't have to give my number out to potential weirdo's. That and like yourself there is no danger of two lives mixing with embarassing consequences....
Try it, if you don't like it then uninstall it. Nothing ventured, nothing lost

I start with here, then move to Kik and if they don't seem nuts then move to WhatsApp lol |

I think the issue here is not anonymity... The OP has selected and opted to give these friends and lifestyle friend their number. Using kik, may protect your number, but the issue here is not her number. I would suggest you create another whatsapp group separate from your friends, and exchange your pics, etc. or get a different phone that you use for your shenanigans. |

Always start here, then if people don't like to give number out move to kik and when all are comfortable with each other whatsapp then bobs your uncle fannies your aunt |

We use Kik too. It keeps it separate from family and friends and means we don't have to give out our numbers.

Also... when setting up your kik, please take my advice:
1. When it asks for your name etc. Use your alias or initials whatever you Ike but don't use your full name because this comes up to people you are chatting with so if you want to remain private I wouldn't suggest inputting your real identity.
2. Pick a username that is different slightly to your fab name because we've had people randomly add us who have said they searched us from fab because of the same username so we had to change this.
3. Don't have your profile picture as a face pic. I learnt this when we had our fab username as our kik and people searched us and then they saw my face pic.
4. You will need two different usernames if chatting as a couple.
Inknow some of these things are obvious but it may help others in future.

I used to use kik, but found because i wasn't giving my number, I'd chat more to people that i wouldn't have if I was giving my number...
I use WhatsApp precisely because it's my number... It makes me 100% more cautious than i was becoming when using kik

Kik is good also Wickr is more discrete as it anonymous (just choose a username like kik) but also deletes everything after 24 hours so there is no trail, downside is if you have a shit memory you can't go back and heck what you have talked about two days ago  |
