So we want to ask a few people round to our place. Ones that tick our boxes & hopefully we tick some of their boxes. We don't want a full blown party, maybe 3 other couples.
Any advice on how to go about this....

Could add something as your heading for your profile as this gets seen as well as your status. I think the part about read our profile if people were generally interested they would so use the opportunity to expand using that. |

What about meeting on neutral ground before inviting them to your home.
Pubs are a good place to chat and get to know people. That way, if there's no connection, there's no awkwardness and the meet being a flop.
