All depends on several things, and everyone has their own opinion of what is 'best' - you mightn't like somewhere that someone else thinks is incredible.
Do you want to be somewhere hot or cold? What sort of adventures are you looking for? Do you want a beach? Do you want to be near a city?
Write it down and go to an adventure holiday specialist - let them guide you, not people on fab unless they are adventure holiday tour operators. |

I worked in specialising tours for 4 years 
I agree with the above write it all down and go to a travel agents (not Barrhead) x |

Explain adventure
Don't have to leave Scotland for a lot specialist adventures.
Mountaineering or skiing we have good slopes and great peaks to climb
Scuba Diving if you don't mind the cold some of the best dives in the world are off the West Coast or in some of our sea water lochs
Off road driving and cycling, walking etc just some of a few
Unless of course it's the sun your after then sorry cannot accommodate |

Fantastic country, lovely people and lots to do
Queenstown on South Island is known for its adventure sports/activities
Can go shark diving
Sea kayaking round the tip of South Island - Abel Tasman National Park is great
