we feel the need to let you know that we have had major probems with the original venue we booked who lost their licence a few weeks ago we did hold off as long as we could to see if they were going to get it back but was informed that they wernt going back to court until the first week of November .
so in the mean time we have frantically been trying to find a venue with great difficulty i may add due to either most places being fully booked or venues not being able to accommodate the numbers we have .
Anyway we have now found another venue its not ideal as its a bit outwith the town centre but only ten. mins in a taxi some people might be a bit surprised by the venue but to be honest it was a case of book this or cancel ..cancelling was not really an option as i know so many of you have made plans ie baby sitters,outfits hotels and stuff
All emails for payments have now been sent out with the exception of a few who we couldnt find from the origonal list if you have changed your username please let us know if you didnt recieve an email please contact us so we can check againt our lists .

I know not everyone has paypal but carolann and myself are not comfortable giving out our personal details it only takes a few mins to set up a paypal account if you cant do that only other suggestions we have is to either ask maybe a relative or friend to make the payment for you  |

It has been brought to my attention that a few people are not happy about the method of payment ive heard this mostly thro third parties i also came into chat tonight and saw some comments in there too if your not happy about it come and speak to us rather than bitching behind our backs
we are trying our damndest to give you all a great nite whilst still retaining our privacy please respect that we wouldnt expect you to give out your home address and you shouldnt expect it from us either
this is the simplest way we thought for payment to set up an accout it only takes a few mins

Hey jacs I see that the venue has been changed to outside the city don't want to be a pain but can I have a clue to what side i.e north south east or west. We stay outside the city and if its near us then we can just come home instead of getting a hotel(thats the type of cheapskates we are lol) Thanks L&S xxxx  |

I am getting a bit worried about the phrase "some people might be a bit suprised about the venue" comment.
Sorry but I really think we need a bit more info on the venue (not where it is) but WOT it is. I have several alergies and really don't want to spend the night with a runny noes and streaming eyes. You have the list of people going PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US A LITTLE MORE INFO ON THE VENUE THEN YOU HAVE |

Venue details are never given out before the social. There have been too many socials "sabotaged" and Venue info in the wrong "ears" can cause all sorts of problems. Anyone could turn up on the night, or put other spanners in the works.
I'm sure the Venue will be suitable to all, and don't take it personally that you wont be given the information, because no one will. It's best for all.
Just my 2p worth, but hope it helps.

EVERYONE WHO WAS ON THE RESERVE LIST WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COUPLE WHO WE COULDNT FIND WHEN SEARCHING FOR THEM HAVE MAD IT ONTO THE MAIN LIST PAYMENT DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN SENT TO YOU SO IF YOU DIDNT RECIEVE AN EMAIL AND WERE ON THE RESERVE LIST CAN YOU MAIL ME SO I CAN SEND YOU DETAILS.

The New Venue is in Glasgow City Centre as with all socials no details are disclosed until a day or two before the social venue details will be sent to everyone on friday xxx |
