In this time of instant gratification, we need to remind ourselves that the machinery of government turns slowly.
Process must be followed, checks and balances must be adhered to.
British Democracy is careful and considered when done properly. There have been many instances of good things happening because of this.
Rushing headlong into a decision has always caused more trouble than its worth, and there have been many instances where parliament have fallen short and the public have called foul before and after its inception
I know many feel that things happening in parliament are there to frustrate and even block democratic decisions from occurring.
But it isn’t true, its a lie.
Yes there maybe opposing views, but generally there is more which unites.
All this talk of violence and retribution, its not going to speed anything up. All that does is add fuel to an already volatile situation.
You got to let the process work and have faith that our MP’s are trying to come to an amicable solution to prevent hardship for all our population.
So Patience, we’ll get there in the end, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Much was trumpeted via the leave camp, including Johnson, about sovereignty. Now that parliamentary sovereignty is live, some of the same people are decrying it.
Brexit was sold as too easy an outcome to accomplish and those misleading claims helped to fashion the current unrealistic demands from many. Ignorance wasn't bliss.
There should be no one who wishes the UK to not get the best outcome that it can. That the complex process is slower than expected by some is something to put aside, whilst only staying focused on achieving the best, from this moment onwards. It is about patience, as op states.
We'd all do well to look out for smoke and mirrors, that could easily distract from what's really going on |

True! If you really want to make a stab at whats going on, dont let Farage off the hook as it was his rabble rousing that opened the flood gates to the frustrations caused by the tories austerity over the last ten years. There are plenty of parallels you could draw with what happened in Germany in the 1930’s and I dont mean people dressing up in Hugo Boss uniforms (google is your friend) but the setting of friends and families and whole sections of our nation against each other in order to create the chaos that strong leaders and their multi milionaire backers will, and they always do, profit from. |
