George Eustice - former UKIP MP - warns EU that Britain will get tough if Brussels doesn't back down in row over shellfish exports.

Eustace tells the EU that the rules were created to help the British shellfish industry when the UK was part of the EU and should not now be used against us.

The British shellfish industry will be decimated should the EU not back down on applying the rules that apply to 3rd countries to the UK.

We have left the EU but we are still friends and have a special relationship.

These rules should not apply to the UK.

We signed a World Beating trade agreement with the EU in which the UK will be much better off devoid of the shackles that were once imposed.

We are now free to make new trade agreements with anyone and make Britain Great Again.

The EU should be willing to ignore some parts of the trade agreement that are departmental to the UK.

After all, we are not "Johnny Foreigner".

We won - get over it.

So in your mind the uk should still get its cake and eat it ,is that right ,you want to be outside of the EU discard anything you dont like and take any benifits from the EU you do and the EU should just "get over it" because you won ,sounds fair to me.
