There has been a fair bit of interest from fellow forumites to have a bit of a social gathering at Alton Towers.
Trying to please everyone with regard to dates is nigh on impossible so I've gone with Diamondsmiles' suggestion of having two socials (I won't be at both) to cater for those who can make it in the week and those who can only make it over the weekend.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PARK WILL NOT BE OPEN ON THE ORIGINAL WEEK DATE OF Wednesday 7th September. It has been suggested that we change the date to Monday 5th September. I'll send everyone on the list a message about this change and the suggested new date.
Saturday 10th September remains unchanged.
All I'm doing is running the lists. If you wish to come along and meet fellow forumites and enjoy a day out its up to you to make your own way there (please let us know if you can offer lifts though) and purchase your own tickets.
Once in the park you're free to roam but it maybe nice to have a couple of rendezvous points at various locations throughout the day for those who wish to have a coffee, natter and 'WOW they look nothing like their profile pic's moment! - I'll work out these at a later date.
The price of tickets are £36.12 per adult if brought online at least 5 plus days in advance or £51.60 if purchased on the day.
It would be nice to see lots of you there. You can also get a 2 for 1 voucher on some Cadbury's products which are valid.

I'd recommend that you change the weekday to the week after as that Monday will still be school holidays for lots of people and may well be packed |

Could we possibly be added to the 10th? it's our anniversary on the 12th so no doubt we will be otherwise indisposed..
Not met any on the list so should be good fun, H doesn't do rides so we haven't been for years but as there's like minded ladies going she's happy to come for the chat & meet..

Trying to please everyone with regard to dates is nigh on impossible so I've gone with Diamondsmiles' suggestion of having two socials (I won't be at both) to cater for those who can make it in the week and those who can only make it over the weekend.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PARK WILL NOT BE OPEN ON THE ORIGINAL WEEK DATE OF Wednesday 7th September. It has been suggested that we change the date to Monday 5th September. I'll send everyone on the list a message about this change and the suggested new date.
Saturday 10th September remains unchanged.
All I'm doing is running the lists. If you wish to come along and meet fellow forumites and enjoy a day out its up to you to make your own way there (please let us know if you can offer lifts though) and purchase your own tickets.
Once in the park you're free to roam but it maybe nice to have a couple of rendezvous points at various locations throughout the day for those who wish to have a coffee, natter and 'WOW they look nothing like their profile pic's moment! - I'll work out these at a later date.
The price of tickets are £36.12 per adult if brought online at least 5 plus days in advance or £51.60 if purchased on the day.
It would be nice to see lots of you there. You can also get a 2 for 1 voucher on some Cadbury's products which are valid.

Over people going to a theme park? Unless we wear t shirts emblazoned with "Fab Swingers" on the front how would they know? However, in light of recent press intrusion I will be messaging people privately about rendezvous points.
