Brighton - even Hove!

A dreadful jumper that will be given to charity ASAP. The look on my daughters face when she got a pair of earrings she wanted.

Highlight, I can't think of just one it was an all round very nice day. Low point was my dad phoning and saying he was bored.

My Christmas low was that it was my first without my now grown up kids who are spending it away this year.

But my high light has been the opportunity to spend it alone with my lover and turn Christmas into the hedonistic pagan festival it ought to be

Highlight was an amazing Christmas dinner.

And lowlight was smoke alarm going off(does all the time because of the wood burner) and son gets sent up to check and he comes back down to tell us that his room is on fire!!!!

All good though and saved the house,yay!!

Low lights...being ill and my washing machine breaking when I can’t afford a replacement.

Highlight will be on January 6th. For my daughters Christmas pressie I paid for us both to go to Prague for a week

Highs.I was totally in focus with all my closest people. Kids discovered new games from my childhood. I made delicious food and all enjoyed it.

Low. Not being with one person in geographical proximity that day. But thank god for phones.

Seen in far off places

Highlight - giving to the homeless on Christmas Day afternoon was a heart warming experience

Highlight - having a wonderful day with my loved ones.

Lowlight - drinking too many bubbles and falling asleep at 8.30... and the hangover the next day.

Near Wells

Lowlight. Being ill for almost all of December and not being able to go out and enjoy the festivities.

Highlight. A wonderful day with my sister, her husband and nephew on Christmas day.

Highlight was the whole thing really. I spent it with my sister in the main and we got up to some old fashioned mischief like it was 1999.

No just smoke damage and the loss of the muppets dirty washing basket and clothes there in that he had put against the red hot fire flue but if he had of been asleep in the room he could have died so all good really.

The funniest thing of all was the picture my oldest(29) showed me of the things that my youngest boy(15) grabbed when I sent them out in case the fire took hold.

His phone ,his switch, his laptop, and a handful of chocolate.

Got his head screwed on that one.
