Watching Behind the Candelabra last night where Liberace tells of being in hospital, near death, and seeing a nun in white, an angel, reminded me of my experience.
It was Xmas and I was 18. I went out for an evening with my mates.
Walking home alone I was jumped by a gang who kicked my head in.
Whilst in hospital for two nights a night nurse visited me middle of the night twice. All in white and most beautiful and serene. She was wonderfully calming and possibly one of the most attractive women I have ever seen.
Others say no nurse wore all white and she was possibly an angel.
I do sometimes wonder..
