because it is a much lesser risk. Its similar for me the fact I love to drive a car fast and to its and my limits ..but I reduce the risk to myself and others by doing it on a track...

There is a sliding scale of risk with certain sexual activities for risk of possible infection and oral is at the lower end.

I didn't get any complaints, my oral tends to be very wet so there's not much chafing which can be a problem. And the taste isn't pleasant but I get used to it pretty quickly and enthusiasm takes over.
