Don’t be alone at Xmas and find a friend , let’s get together and keep each other company . It’s the least we can do as I don’t celebrate it faithfully but in spirit we should not let anyone be alone. I am around for you if you are in Yorkshire . I have a good group of friends on here and don’t feel alone but I know how lonely it can be for others. |

Though I'm on 4 days leave, I'm working tomorrow at a Lunch for 100 people.
It's aimed specifically at those who are on their own on Christmas Day.
Food, drinks, gifts, the venue, 2 Chefs and even transport have been provided by local businesses. I'm one of 34 volunteers who'll run the event.
I won't be alone!  |

Some people do great things at this time of year. I'm one of the unlucky ones that will be alone for Xmas but that is mostly due to me working. I'm a security officer for my sins. It's going to be a long lonely day |

My first Christmas on my own for 3 years. Waking up alone this morning is sad, especially as my ex is 5 miles down the road with her family around her, which is where I would have been.
