I don't seem to be getting much luck on here fell like I'm wasting my time. I put the effort in but still nothing. Your thoughts and advise would be greatful.

Don't give up or you'll definitely get nowhere. Keep messaging and tailor your messages to profiles you're interested in. Maybe try a different area or visit some clubs?

Fella here - Get off to the swinging clubs. I met the Mrs there and then we chatted on here and the rest is history, we couldn't be happier
