I feel happy and sad on 6/5 each and every year.
It's the day my mother passed away, and I held her in my arms, watching tears run down her wonderful face as the life support machines were switched off. 4 years later, I reluctantly went out for a drink with 4 mates and met the lady of my dreams, and it changed that sad day forever  |

I see life like an obstacle course... Each obstacle is different, each will hinder, some will stop you from progressing further. The trick is taking each one and focussing on that one at the time. Not how you could have overcome the last one better or quicker, or how you might tackle the next one, after all if you can't get over the current one you wont reach the next.
