any hints/tips/game idea's for socials from you experienced lot? Also as a newbie to a social what would re assure you about one?
Im currently the blind leading the blind. Got a date and idea of just a few drinks out and about, but nothing specifically planned.

i went to the Worcester social and that ended up as d*unken laughs and a great night.no games as such apart from shots being d*unk out my cleavage and on my bum

ah thats ok,, so it doesn't have to be name badges and hen/stag do type tasks. :D
The occassion is mine and a friends birthday so we just thought of getting some locals from here together.
Its just difficult as ive only 5 women confirmed so far and about 100 men who want it... but worried they think secretly its just a big fuck fest
Im not making commitments to anyone on that side,, come the end of the night i might just want to return back to my hotel room and sleep. lol (im such a lightweight) |

limit the guys and make it clear its a social and if anything happens its a bonus, are you going anywhere that has a disco. When i first started doing socials they where vanilla ones, i say vanilla loosly cause they werent swingers but where a raunchy lot, but we used to go down broad street in birmingham and to reflex the 80's bar, have a few drinks, dance and then it kind of takes care of its self |

See my issue is that i don't like to say no to genuine nice people who might want to attend, however when the numbers soon build up esp with the ratio one woman to 20 guys (heaven for some women maybe lol) its got to be off putting for both men and women atendee's

You have to be firm, but if a 100 single guys say they want to come probley only 20 will turn up anyway. You need to try and sort which ones are most likely to be definetes. Having said that, if its in somewhere like reflex doesnt really matter how many turn up, they will probly be mingling anyway |

Expect that a lot of the people that say they're interested not to turn up,from lots of socials we've been to thats always been the case,especially with the guys,not wanting to diss the guys as I love them but they all jump on the chance to come and get their names on a list but when it comes down to actually attending the numbers dwindle significantly  |

i tend to agree with HPC.... in the fact that people (especially single guys) will say they will come, but why you point out that it will literaly be just a social... in the fact that there will be no playing... that people won't bother turning out...
if you are alluding to play afterwards then I think you are then creating a rod for your own back.. |

I have told the men who have expressed an interest that its a social and i wont be playing..
but on the night i might feel differently but by no means am i going to give any man false impressions. My intentions are drinking, celebrating and meeting new people |

Agree a level of experimentation, eg kiss the person on your right, left, opposite, show us your legs, tell a funny or strange story etc. Then get peeps to write them down on slips and mix them all up in a hat.
Make it clear there will be no obligation to do anything if anyone is uneasy with it. Can help get people relaxed together more quickly. |
