Why does someone send a friend invite, then ignore any messages after if ?

What is it with some people, they send you a blind friend request, then when its accepted nothing so you email them just to let them know its been accepted incase they missed it and the message is read but they don't message back, does not seem right to me that at all.

Thanks I wasn't happy, if they'd messaged back after reading it fine but no reply and they were ones requested the add so afraid tough titty lol |

Well they had pics too, but have removed them now, had their chance to talk and didn't - never normally add like that and won't again ! |

I blindly don't accept blind friend requests, and I don't accept those that send me a message with it either, especially if its obvious they haven't read my profile  |
