Ahhh but isnt that the problem...you should learn your attitudes to woman from your mum.If she demands respect, only allows men in her life who treat her with respect then it forms your view of all women.

The attitudes we learn as children stay with us throughout our lives

I've always had jobs where I have been in regular contact with people at all levels and sadly they have also been jobs where I don't get to make everyone happy all of the time.

I think that teaches you communication skills as a whole, with both men and women and also makes you more confident in conversing with people in general.

Still put me foot in it from time to time though

Don't think I've mastered it or ever will.

I love some of things woman say that if they were men they would be considered insane.

I took a woman to dinner once, nice restaurant and asked her politely.

"Do you like roast pheasant"?

Straight forward question, self contained, unambiguous, says all that needs to be said.

"Ummm, not really" came the reply.

What does that mean? She sucked on one briefly, then threw it away, WHAT?

Mr

Always been charismatic and never changed to act out of my nature. I think being a gent and naturally interested what people in general have to say not just ladies fared me well.

That aside I don't tolerate rude or obnoxious. So of course expect the same in return x

Is it the same for women?

I find it depends on the person, if they seem approachable or not.

By asking open questions

Alot of "yes/no/lol" laid back one word answer merchants about today!

Anyone who responds to a whole paragraph of text or 5 minutes of talking with one line or word gets ditched lol

Saved alot of time and effort just by doing this.

"learn to talk to women ?

I was the 1st boy in my family, including cousines and all that, so grew up around lots of women. All there friends. So never been a problem, I dont generally try to chat anyone up. Just have a good giggle.

Best advice I ever got was from a sister, "go out and forget about girls. Have a great time and some will see it and wanna get involved. Much better than going around in a pack acting like a twat"

Always worked for me

x

I think that's very true!!

A couple of years ago, a certain lady and I were going out and about together quite a bit, and something that struck her was the way I always walked on her 'outside' It was just natural to me!

I know I know, I'm just a gentleman!!
