I know, you wouldn't guess it, would you?
The dress I wore today, and the heat, really required knickers. A little thread on the gusset seam rubbed me up the wrong way and now I have a sore on my labia.  
Are you sensitive too?

Ouch! I managed to tear the crotch of my tights at work a couple of weeks ago and chafed my thighs so badly. Took at least two days to stop hurting and the skin's only just started feeling completely normal again. |

Yes. I react to beauty products, make up, some washing powders and, like you, underwear rubbing on my labia in the heat.
I also get lumps on my labia from vigorous sex. I have to sit in a cold bath to make the swelling go down.

I've just had a minor op on the side of my head and the swelling and bruising has gone around my eyes. Looks like I've done a couple of rounds in a boxing ring  So, very sore and trying desperately not to rub my eyes!! |

Actually, I have!! Thanks. My big sister told me to do the same thing!! Chilled it in the fridge and it DOES seem to ease the need for rubbing!!...where would we be without you knowledgeable women... "
Listen to your big sis next time.
Put a damp cloth in the freezer and put it over your eyes when you go to bed. It will help prevent you rubbing as you drop off to sleep.
