Because very few butcher shops give out bones.

I think it stopped with bse.

Probably just don’t see it because dogs don’t roam the streets anymore like they used to?

Try explaining Daily A Disc to them, they fall about laughing like the aliens in the Cadbury Smash advert.

Having to put tapes into vhs players.

Having to rewind tapes by hand.

Seen a 'Charlie says' ad.

Worried about catching aids.

Got scared by the green cross code guy.

Remember all those kind of ads, don't play near water, or electric pylons... The one with the boat mast still gives me the geebees.

Also, lent out of a train window to open the door with the outside handle.

Or sent one mate in with a ticket to go an open the fire exit so the rest of you could get in for free

A couple of years ago I asked an intern to fill in a cheque for us then, photocopy it. And give me back the paperwork

The intern looked at me if I was speaking a foreign langauage. They had admitted they never had filled in a cheque or even seen a cheque book and didn’t know how to reconcile a cheque account

At which point I laughed, showed them what to do. I then said it was great used to use cheques all the time as took 4 to 6 days to cash them in supermarkets so the week before student payment was due you could have shit loads of stuff as you knew the students loan money was coming

West London

Listened to music radio on AM, using the AM/FM switch, hoping the red light for FM stereo would come on if you were in a crap reception area, learnt to touchtype on a typewriter, unmangling the letter metal bars, changing the ink tape, getting your fingers stained in the process, having to use a switch to type in red, using typex to correct and waiting for it to dry, using carbon paper for carbon copies aka cc, waiting for the latest music video to come on terrestrial telly, videotaping the aforementioned, using a head cleaner on audio/video cassette players, using the mechanic counter figures to bookmark the recordings, remember to reset it to zero at the start of the tape, playing the same song at the same time on a double-deck cassette player to get a reverb effect, using the cassette player to record yourself, or others secretly then play it back to them for a laugh, or record music off the TV speaker, having to choose between Compuserve and Demon as the only two internet providers, having to update their London phone number from 01 to 0181/0171 and then 020 8/020 7,... Better stop now, getting older as I type each of these...

PS - Sent a postcard while on holiday abroad, got back home before postcard arrived
