Do you speak yr mind or keep things in?

I tell it as it is.

It’s already happened today, it got tense, we both stood our ground. Ended in hugs though and the air is cleared.

Are you a let it all outer or a keep it all iner?

I'm a keep it all in person.

But I usually end up bottling it all up inside which isn't good.

I'm upfront honest and straight to the point

Depends. I prefer to pick my battles. We only have so many breaths in a lifetime and sometimes I'm not willing to waste one on someone if they're being a dick.

If it's a family member I try to speak up. Best not to let things fester.

I pick my battles, most of it doesn't matter and I can't see anything positive in constant confrontation.

I tell it as it is, unfortunately this has led to me being branded, grumpy, sensitive and difficult to get along with

A bit of both. It really depends on the situation & context. Whether it's in person, on the phone or 'text' makes a big difference too. At the end of the day, I find speaking your mind the best way forward, regardless of the outcome.

Love the idea of hugs though.

Hiding in the shadows

I always speak my mind, bottling things up isn't healthy.

But I have learnt not to blurt things out, wait for the right time.

Timing can make all the difference to the outcome in certain situations

I wish I could, I have a colleague that I work along side and to put it bluntly she is thick as shit and I wish I could tell her how I feel about her. Nice lady but doesn’t do anything for the stereotypical blonde Essex birds lol.

Geeky x

It's situational. If it's something that I really care about then I'll speak my mind, most of the time I realise it probably doesn't matter and just have a cup of tea.

It's a good question....

It depends on the circumstance, person and situation.

In the past I've waded in, sometimes too strong too soon.

I've learnt to wait, to listen, to try ant interpret, to understand before offering my two pence worth....

There's two sides to every situation, you've got to try and get at the root of the problem before committing one way or the other.....

There and to the left a bit

I prefer to be open and talk things through but that often takes willingness to do so on both sides, otherwise it can explode just as spectacularly as bottling it up until it finally explodes anyway can.

Depends what it is and if it needs to be said.

I find that a lot of people describe themselves as a 'straight talker' when they really mean they have no filter, couldn't give a flying fuck if they hurt the other person or make a situation worse for no good reason other than they are an arsehole.

I do say what I mean but I try to be a bit diplomatic about it...... unless I'm in arsehole mode or they have seriously pissed me off, then they just get the undiplomatic version.

I only speak my mind to those I care about, and I’d hope to get the same.

It depends on the situation and place.

The key is to know when and when not to open your mouth.

Jobs lost, arrests made, family torn apart etc . . . There is a time and place,

Just choose the correct ones!

It depends on the situation. If I'm asked my feelings or opinion I'm always honest.

I find it hard to express myself without being asked to.

Yes, tactful normally starts a conversation , otherwise it starts an argument I find

I keep it in. Recently thought being honest was the best policy but looks like I lost my friend.

Usually keep it to myself when it comes to random day to day bullshit, its just not worth the petty argument but if its something more serious I tend to speak up

Why is speaking your mind a bad thing? If im pissed at someone i will tell them. However, more often i will tell them when i respect them or are proud of them or thank them for something

I always say what I'm feeling . That's me . I've made some great friends on here and I've pissed people off . It's the ones that can see who you truly are that matter to me .
