When I saw this thread title I was going to say Peakies or Narcos but they've both been mentioned already.
Watch Peakies again. You'll need something to keep you going until series 5 is out in October-ish. |

Many that I would recommend have already been mentioned.
I'll add 'Sleeper Cell' and 'Band of Brothers'.
I have a box set running on the screens in Purgatorium, I change the Blu-Ray disc every 10,000 years.

American Horror Story- Start with S2. Each series is a mini series so it doesn't matter what order you watch them. I'd go Asylum (2) Murder House (1) Roanoke (6) Freak show (4) Coven (3) and then Hotel (5). I warn you though- S2 by far surpasses any other season. While some of the others are good (Hotel is just about watchable) they arent a patch on S2. I guarantee you will binge it in a night or 2.
The Walking Dead- 're started it last week and just finished Season 3.
Breaking bad- finished series 1 in a night, entire thing in less than a week. After you seen that (assuming you haven't already) then watch Better Call Saul which is a sort of prequel
The Strain- only watched a few episodes but it isn't bad |

House of cards (the original British version and the American version)
I would also recommend going on to imbd and looking at the most popular films and watch some of those. |

My two favourites have been said but only once each and they are superb.
The Bridge (there’s three seasons and the fourth and final is about to come out, hence BBC iplayer has for a short period all episodes of the first three seasons on catch up currently- get them!)
Twin Peaks. It’s where this type of box set TV film on the small screen started. |

I don't normally watching subtitled programmes, but Hubby got me hooked on The Bridge, we both love Saga's little quirks
