face pics

I'm new to this and would like advice please...

I arranged a meet the other day with a couple who were verified.

They stated they wanted a face a pic, which I did after explaining I have to be careful etc.

I asked for one but they wouldn't. "Can see us when we meet" was the answer.

We are still messaging, but still no face pic.

Is this normal on fab, do I go for it, leave it?

I don't know about normal but I don't continue chatting with anyone if they aren't compatible and I don't do anything I'm not entirely happy about. If you aren't happy with the situation then move on. It doesn't really matter what others think.

That doesn’t sound like they are playing very fair. What else will they expect from you to do and won’t be prepared to do in return? At the end of the day it’s up to you if you are happy to meet someone when you don’t know what they look like.

I always ask for a pic they can see my pic on profile,but happy to give one, not point in meeting if they turn out to be not what your looking for as it just wasts evey one time x

Also if it's a social meet then although not first option I would go along with it, if for s play meet, I would be a bit more cautious

My own opinion is that if they aren’t willing to show you theirs... why not??? If you are organising a meet then surly you need to see them first...

I hav eto be careful with my work etc and am wary of strangers but I still send a face pic!!

In my experience, any profile that doesn’t send a face pic is a timewaster...

For security, I always ask for and provide clear & recent face pics...

Not just to check for mutual attraction... but to make sure they are who they say they are...

No matter how tastey the profile is, and how tempting the offer, I will never meet a faceless profile... it’s far too risky

Have had meets where pic was from about 20 years ago with modern technology it's not that difficult to send a photo
