Strathclyde Police confirmed Mr Walker's body was found scorched at the side of the road at Caponacre industrial estate in Cumnock. They would not comment on reports he had been tied to a lamp-post and beaten. Officers are not ruling out the possibility that the attack was motivated by homophobia.

sleep well Stuart and I hope the Police find the culprits. ( I say culprits as there will have been more than 1 )

xx

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

The 4pm news on Radio 2 said that police had discounted a homophobic motive, and that media reports to that effect were all based on an inter_iew with a friend of his.

It's still an horrendous thing that happened, though.

Ive just googled it as i dont really watch telly or listern to radio so have never heard of this young man

Found the story on sky news web site

had to read it twice cause i couldnt quite belive it first time round

Absolutely unbelievable, how anyone could do that to a person in sheer cold blood is beyond my understanding, i cant even begin to imagine what his family must be going through

no matter

People think that is is now accepted that people are gay. Unfortunately there are still homophobes out there. Gays are still not safe out of certain areas. Its a great shame..

Sometimes it is so easy in our nice, sexually liberated bubble to think its safe for everyone out there...then things like this happen, you want to rant and rage, but who at...who do we blame for such horrible behaviour?

i dont have the answers, but i hope at least this makes people stop and consider the joke, jibes, bullying that encourage a culture of hatred

Not strictly true, the police said until they knew the culprits there was no proof of a homophobic motive...however they were investigating it as a possible motive.

little house on the praire

Its not just the death, but the evil way it was done. Whether it was because he was gay. People should be able to walk the streets without fear for there lives. Lives that are not taken seriously. Where do these animals come from, its like we have breeded some form of sub human.

Oh we can blame the parents, the schooling or that they where simply misunderstood.

The truth is people like this are born evil and just wait for a chance to inflict as much pain and damage on someone.

There was a time i believed that noone was born evil but i have long since changed my mind
