I prefer low lights / dim lights / candles.
Hate it when people leave the 'big light' on when they accom - and have been known to ask them to switch um off (cheeky, I know)
Bright light always seems to draw my eyes and I am never able to lose myself in the meet as much as I do when the lighting is subtle.
So what do you prefer ? |

Definitely agree! This is one of the reasons we don't want to have pictures or video taken - the room ends up being lit like an operating theatre - yuk!  |

Dont get much choice outside.. 
and its always lights on.. how else can I get the good camera lighting

and scented candles are such an effective way of losing the smell of sex after they've gone home 
apart from the cinnamony ones that are always out at crimbo - they make me gag ! |

Lol i don't like the xmas ones either much. There are some lovely scented ones that do help set the mood for a hot night. |

Red light can create a delightfully erotic atmosphere  Though we forgot to take out the red bulbs in our bedroom on one occasion, and the look on the carpet fitter's face was priceless when he came down and asked if we had any stronger lights as he couldn't see what he doing.  |

Lights on just not too bright. I like to see what I'm doing it adds to the experience for me, although my victims oops partners, might prefer the dark lol |

I like lights on…. what we see adds to the mental stimulation. Whether they are the main lights dimmed, mood lighting, candles or all three I don’t really mind…. I just don’t want to get a burnt retina if I happen to look directly at it. |

I'm not a candle fan really, I'd be scared that I'd set some guys cock on fire in the literal sense.
Though as we don't accommodate I had to make do with what's available |

Depends what we're doing, I prefer lowlights and candlelight but the bedroom gets really warm with lots of candles alight, thats for intimate, erotic sex, if we're having a night of BDSM then it has to be bright light, don't want to poke anyones eye out with me crop, or get a flogger in someones eye... lol..

candles, or dimmer for me... I enjoy the site of people so i don't want to not see them, but to much light feels more like a normal everyday nothing speical going on atmosphere... It's nice to set a mood
That said, i love morning sex in the natural day light via the window... that's greeeeeat tooooooooooo |
