It depends on what situations you’re talking about.
For example, in the labour market it can be for sure.
On Fab it can be when age preferences start to limit the available ‘pool’ of potential matches.
In enjoying life in general? It shouldn’t be unless the signs of ‘wear and tear’ on your body prevent you from doing what you’d like to. |

Yes and no. In my case, i've come across a few very appealing profiles whose boxes I perfectly tick until I see i'm 2 years above the age limit 
40 is a very common age limitation for ladies. Can't always get lucky!  |

It depends. If you're a single woman it's not a huge bar to getting meets. If you're a couple it somewhat limits your options. If you're a single man below or above a certain band of ages it probably limits your options quite severely. |

We all have our age preferences, even those who don't change the site default setting of 18-99.
There is nothing you can do about it, just focus your attentions on people whose preferences you match with.
There are always similar posts on the forums and they often come from people who have a very sparse profile. I've never understood why people don't maximise their potential by making an effort. Instead they just blame their age/ethnic origin/body shape etc. |

Here is the difference to real life as some look Thierry age and some don't. .so a situation were your sat in a bar and a lovely lady comes in who you find really attractive! Would you ask her age straight away and then shun her if she falls outside your desired age?
I think not

If age wasn't important in people's sexual preferences, there would not be an option to set your preferences, or filters for age |

Ah, Age. Due to wear and tear and ED I have changed my kinks over last few years, preferring to watch H enjoy what she is addicted too. I usec to be a duracel bunny, now more like a marshmallow, but having a trophy GF helps and although limits my participation there are plenty about who are happy that I watch. Part way to being a cuck maybe? mmm not sure |
