Favourite PS2 era games

I was a casual gamer (at best!) but I used to love my PS2 and I've had the bright idea to get my hands on a secondhand one and a few games.

My favourites, if I had to narrow it down, were the Sims games, but Bustin Out in particular, SSX Tricky, Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds and The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge. But which were your favourites?

Metal Gear Solid around then was my favourite by miles. Haven't really played again since that era.

Couldnt agree more even loved advent children loved the updated music the tiffa battle music and one winged angel reboots were brilliant hope they put them in the reboot

Another one I have just remembered was a GTA-esque one that was set in London and for which they'd recreated pretty much the whole of central London perfectly - think it was called Black Friday

Gta vice city, the soundtrack of that game was amazing. Completed it not too long ago on ps4. Pro evo, splinter cell and need for Speed underground were good aswell

FFX..... quite simply the best ever game I’ve ever played . Liked FFVII too , that got me into this genre , but FFX was such joy . The storyline and the graphics are fantastic , the characters drag you into the game and in remastered hd edition is fantastic .

I have all the original characters , aeons , and memorabilia associated with the game too
