Yes this is a rant- today of all days family politics has bubbled to the surface- i’m simultaneously sad and totally pissed off.
In the cold light of day I could shut them out of my life forever.
Things will have to change over the next few days. |

Families are both a joy and a PITA. I hear you and it’s so fucking hard, isn’t it.
After years of trying hard, very hard, I gave in and left them to it. There’s little point in going back to endure the poison just because we share DNA.
I hope you find the peace you need and your levels restored. |

I used to have all that crap and l sed if ever l become single l will never get hitched again never listen to the shit and 10 years on l am single and have found peace but can be lonely but l listen to my mates hen pecked and think l am so lucky merry Xmas |

I know the feeling, it's a day where dirt from the past can come up , to be honest it's the only day of the year I tolerate it , for the rest of the year I am close to a couple of my siblings and have no contact with the other two, believe me it's better that way |

I walked away from a certain part of my family a few years ago. It’s safe to say I’ve never looked back. I can’t believe how detrimental it all was to my mental health and now I’m steaming ahead. |
