...and keeping a close eye on NASA's homepage

Taking (non-monetary) bets on where that out of control satellite is going hit.

I'm guessing China.

Not great, is it!

I'm just checking the house insurance to see how I claim for satelite debris damage

I bet that a large proportion will land in the ocean, some in France, America, Brazil and Chile. What do we win if we get it right? A personal rude pic from O P??

Not when they reckon the largest bit of debris is going to be the size of a fridgefreezer

Fridge freezers come in all shapes & sizes. Can they not be a bit more specific as to the size?

Is it going to be 4 cubic feet or 20 cubic feet?

Could be like a doll's house fridge freezers.

Will these bits of metal have bits of space on them? Like alien dust and shit.

We might get poisoned or even worse alien spores mate with artichokes which become sentient beings and kill mankind.

Just a thought.

the chances of it hitting someone are 1/3200

the chances of it hitting you personally are around 1 in 21 trillion, given there are roughly 7 billion people on earth.

So i would not be too worried

just shows how the media misquote the correct information

Or on the other-hand, it could just land in the sea with a harmless splash.... and sink down to the murky depths where the extreme cold water temprature will render it compeletly inert......sigh.....

If it's traveling at 5 miles per second in no gravity I don't think in this case that size will matter! If it lands in the sea it'll cause a tsunami, hopefully far enough out to sea to cause little damage!

Well I can't give you drama,,,

But I've heard some of it has already crash landed, however the area where this happened has been put under strict UN guard.....

Because apparently the debris contains a mutating virus which can't be controlled... Its thought to be a product of faeces which were jettisoned from a time travelling machine of unknown origin……

It also believed the virus could turn everyone affected by it, into clones of the Time Traveller’s who shit it was!!!!

Oh…. And there is also reports coming in, that a lump of debris has fallen on the studio where the Jeremy Kyle show is being filmed wiping out everyone involved in the programme…. Thankfully no harm was done!!!

The 1/3000 chance of being hit is for it to hit a person. With there being approximately 6.96 billion people in the world, the chances of it being you are pretty slim, though lets see if it gets used as an excuse to call of a meet tonight!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Apparently the pices will be travelling at a 'moderate' speed of between 10s and 100s of miles an hour. So next tiem I get pinched for speeding can I tell the policeman I was driving 'moderately'?
