Was talking to someone the other day about this. I have confidence issues over body etc.. and even though I've lost a fair amount of weight I still see myself as being than I am.

The issue if moobs came up. I think I have them but they didn't think I have them.

So 2 questions...

how do you overcome body confidence

And when is a moob a moob

Body confidence is being happy in the skin your in.

Once you accept who you see and are comfortable with that then the confidence comes naturally

Honestly, I think I'll always have issues with my body confidence, but it doesn't plague me anymore. The turning point for me was accepting that other people see me differently to how I see myself. Others find me sexy, therefore I am, even if I don't think/feel it myself. That knowledge allows me to be more secure.

Do they move about when you jiggle?

Body confidence is when you realise everyone is as insecure about their body as everyone else xx

Thanks all. I guess as I've got older I'm becoming more aware of people with perfect physique and it plays on my mind that I'll never get to that now...

But I'll have to love who I am..

Such an insensitive thread for flat chested gents who don't have moobs and who have to stuff loo roll down their shirts.

;-)

Im not sure body confidence is the issue. I think it should be body acceptance.

You've got what you've got. Yes you can tone up but you'll never be perfect, no one is.

The way I see it my body is only part of who I am, im confident in being a nice fun person and that's whats gonna get me to the stage of being naked with someone. By then its too late for them to back out

My body confidence fluctuates a lot. Sometimes I think I look pretty good. But at other times I sit in front of the mirror crying.

It's part of why I like being here. I can be made to feel sexy here, wanted, admired etc.

I’m far from confident about my body but also accept that I am me. Mr likes me as I am and others find me attractive. You look fine and I don’t see any signs of moobs. X

This is so true. It can be a challenge to be comfortable with yourself.

I’ve been happy in the skin I’m in and have really felt that way since my late teens. Going to naturist beaches helped me shed my inhibitions and I have developed more exhibitionistic tendencies over the last 10 years really.

I’ve lost quite a lot of weight in the last two years and now feel very good about how I look. There was a period where there were certain photos I looked at and didn’t like because of the prominence of my belly, but on the whole I’ve not suffered from a lack of body confidence since my teens and even then it was only when I was fully naked. I strutted around in speedos without a second thought

Op age has nothing to do with it.

So ...

I am :

Late 40's

Overweight

Hairy to chimp standards

5ft6

Bald

Have poor eyesight

Have a (non contagious) skin condition

I am, in short, a swingers dream ??

But, thing is, I am pretty confident about myself

I can't do much about a good proportion of those things

I figure not one of us is cut from the same mould

I also figure that regardless of how I look, I will never be to everyones taste

Pretty much everyone of us has insecurities or things they don't like about themselves

I also figure if someone takes time out of their diary to meet me, either socially or sexually, something had intrigued them enough to meet

So, if I come across as insecure or consistently draw attention to what I see as my inadequacies, then they may become unattractive in their eyes too

So, try to effect the things you can change and learn to love the things you can't

Above all else, just be yourself
