its very very wrong!!! the campain has been gping for a while gordon ramsey did a channel 4 documentary about it, now i think hes a twat but have to admit did like him for doing it!! |

The diving community has been running a campaign for years. can give you numerous links if you really want to get involved.
A chinese restraunt I use regularly gave up serving shark fin soup a few months ago and was lauded in the diving press for doing so - his takings have soared! |

BUT to be honest...there is a crazy amount of fish caught that are discarded after being caught in nets as they arent the right species... that hugh fernley done a programme on it...sharks are fish btw...just bigger.

+1, Do not know the restaurant concerned, but am a diver so am well aware of this good work

lol however I was gonna point out about the relative pain that animals with certain nervous structures feel...but shhhhhhhhhhhhh opens a whole new can of half-cut worms lol |

The Chinese is in Portsmouth. Had a great pic of a shark that I took in Jamaica last year but mods said no animal pics allowed, it was only swimming lol off toi the far east in 2 weeks hope to see some more |

Didn't find any sharks in Portland yesterday but lost count of how many fish were swimming around with with hooks and lines in their mouths. All those who want to ban blood sports should put their focus on to fishing!!! |
