Away on holiday tomorrow, trying to down load books but only just got Ipad 1...can anyone help??? Please....

Go to the App Store, on your iPad, and download iBooks. Then from there you can download tons of books, hundreds of free ones too.

There are a number of book apps for iPad 1 or 2.

iBooks is probably the best

But take a look at the Kindle app and also Stanza which is awesome for free books.

goto the app store and download the kindle app, then set up a kindle account, its a great app as can add alot of different things such as iphone kindle pc and ipad to the same account and share books.
