im always barefoot at home, kids wear socks, we use our backdoor as the kitchen is tiled, shoes either get put under the stairs or kicked under the dining table or left in a pile in the doorway! |

Me.. Barefoot if I'm not going out again, or a pair of trainers to kick around the workshop or pop down the garden in.
Devil.. About the same. The heels are the first thing to come off when she gets in the door, before anything else!

Slippers as bare foot means I can feel all the bits and reminds me I need to Hoover up!! Wooden floors ain't all that they need hoovering every other bloody day!!!! |

No shoes in the house and crocs by the door to go outside to bin, shed etc... I have utility room which is the best thing ever invented for outside gear to stay neat and tidy and keep dirt and wet from flooring.
I have a Malaysian friend and she told me that it didnt matter if you went barefoot out of the bath or shower for only ten minutes, walking around the house the last thing you should do before going to bed is wash your feet as it gives you a more restful sleep to climb in with damp newly washed tootsies.
Now, if Im tossing and turning and cant drop off I stand in bath and wash my feet with the handspray and it really does the trick! |

Always have slippers. Can't stand it barefoot. Used to live in Saudi years ago so went bare foot indoors for a cpl of years just to keep them cool but found I ended up with really hard skin so went back to slippers whilst still out there. |

Because I`m a) a lazy sod and b) probably going straight back outside to do chores, my work boots probably don`t come off straight away. Slippers go on when they do! |

I think its because I also hate slippers.. there is something a bit unsexy about them although I must confess - I dont have carpets in my home as I dont like a lot of soft furnishing.... and on the "bare" floor your toes get can a bit chilly... |

Oh I agree that slippers are not sexy, mine are the slippers with the fur all around the outside, and ive got little knitted boots too.
I dont want to be sexy all the time, I like being comfy and warm |

Of course if anyone asks what I am wearing, then I will say babydoll, no knickers and sky high heels, even if its 11 at night. The reality is that im in my cow print nightie which reaches past my knees and my knitted booties and my fleecy dressing gown. |

2mins each foot ~ after bath /shower (better still get the other half or 1 of the kids to do it 4 ya !! ) give em 50p or a extra qwid pockey money on a Friday lol
As for outdoor shoes in ya house??(Dog owners will ALL agree ~you only have to see the "muck" that comes off 4 tiny paws each walkies,to realise just how much "muck" shoes can bring in !!!!
