Left Glasgow bright sunshine,same Carlisle,started snowing east of hexham,got home nr Durham could hardly get van upto house! most snow I've seen round here last four years |

And it's laying on the previous snow what turned to ice, so it's dangerous as well. And the wind is whipping across it to chill your bones like a Siberian supermodel.

Met office have issued warnings of up to 8 inches of snow and minus 5 degrees.
Might have to put a big coat on but flip flops are still an option. |
