It's a fantastic and incredible feeling that makes your blood rush through you and gives you the most tingly of sensations in anticipation! the last time it was for about the 24 hrs leading up to meeting a lovely fab friend and knowing that I would be spending four or five hours of passionate and sensual naughtineness in their company  |

Similar for me, waiting to board a flight to India, Two weeks of just bumming around where I fancied followed by two weeks bumming around the beaches of Goa & yes I have done the hanging off the train thing

My first solo paragliding flight... the moment your feet lift off and you feel the parasail settle, firm strong lift, then that sudden shock as it suddenly lifts again unexpectedly when it catches a thermal, then you settle again as you pull down slightly on a cord and turn realising you're not totally at its mercy. FABULOUS feeling. |

A while ago. Same thing as you. I talked to someone and we planned some stuff.
Planning and the build up can be as exiting as the actual event.

at the weekend as Mr surprised me with a night out and some great fun x i still get excited to be told come get me even now after 4 and a half years...
Although actually being told to look for a hotel this weekend has had the same effect x |

Worry not about those who are grumpy. I just wish people realised how hurtful it is to write comments like that, it sucks -- but speaks more about how they're feeling. You didn't respond yet to the second person's post which is why they got upset, but were perhaps off your stride from the first person's issue. |

Nearest feeling to being ale to fly.....the silence is deafening and there's that feeling of vulnerability and yet you have control and at times you actually wonder if you really do. Do it if you get the chance. |

It's really hard keeping track of fast moving threads, I don't think people realise it's all scroll down, up, check aaaaaagghhh -- a few nights of doing the nocturnal thread near killed me. When I've done my own threads more often I do such a verbose topic that at least the comments are long enough to slow the posting pace down to be more manageable! |
