Recently told a lady in here I'm a fan of ladies with thier hair in bunches and while she didn't accuse me directly the word 'peado' was mentioned, not sure how I feel, the summary would probably be she's not into the same stuff as me..... thoughts anyone ? |

at weekends my hair is often in plaited or plain pigtails simply because its easy to keep my hair out the way..
Ignore them. Some people are looking for things that aren't there or offended by everything |

I'm 40 with long hair. I regularly wear mine in plaits or pigtails; it keeps it up neater than a single ponytail and is especially useful this time of year. I never had long enough hair to wear them when I was younger so the argument that they're a reversion to childhood is a specious one. |

I find they are less harsh on my scalp than a pony tail. I hate my hair flapping around my face so it almost always tied up somehow. |

How many of you actually go outside with two pigtails in or is it strictly for the bedroom? I can't say I ever see a grown woman walking about outside with two in,a ponytail yeah but not two pigtails.

Really? As above I do sometimes for the gym and have seen others wearing them out and about. Conversely I can't remember seeing any of our little un' s primary age classmates wearing them, it's all plaits and ponytails. |

Before I cut my hair short again, I would often wear pigtails when I was out. Combined with my purple hair, I just thought they were cute.
Mainly though I used that style as they were functional in the gym and when doing OCR. |

A friend of mine who regularly wears pigtails was walking down the street when some young lads whistled at her from behind.
She was a dancer in her youth and has maintained a fabulous body, and dyes her hair blond.
Imagine the looks of mortification on the teens' faces when she turned around....and told them that even at age 75 she still appreciates attention from the men! |
