OK so can anyone pick a film from the last 25 years that they believe will be a modern classic. Don't be too much of a critic but Ive got to kick off with jurassic park. Can't beat it ! Anyone else

Forrest gump, shawshank, pulp fiction (weirdly all the same academy year) schlinders list, silence of the lambs, seven, fight club, saving private Ryan, memento, a beautiful mind. Not going past 2001 as its not been long enough to see if they really do hold up over time.

The only problem with Dirty Dancing is that it doesn't qualify under the criteria of thus thread. OP specified films of the past 25 years. That means nothing earlier than 1991. I believe Dirty Dancing was 1987

You have to have 'The Green Mile' in any list.
