Whilst visiting The Range and Hobbycraft i found 'Painting by numbers' and 'Scraperfoils'

I just couldnt resist and bought them.

Completed a mini scraperfoil this morning and had to say bloomin loved it.

It wont replace my love of colouring in though but was nice to mix up my creative stuff.

What do you enjoy to express creativity?

Drawing, not blowing my own trumpet but I'm bloody good when applying detail in pictures, pencil first then use rotering pens.

Ha ha, aw, bless you!

Yeah, at high level it gets a bit technical. There're mathematical algorithms and everything.

little house on the praire

I used to do lots of things unfortunately I don't have the attention span, made cards, Easter colours, pottery, flower arranging.

Bit I adored silk painting got really good at it so I could do find colour limes.

I mainly made cards and scarves for people and I'd make pictures out of them and frame them for people. It used to look beautiful. I've still got most of my paints and stuff must not able to do it now

I embroider, my favourite is doodle embroidery, sew, crochet, do some patchwork and have started collecting driftwood to make picture frames and "stuff" to hang in the garden. I was once a pretty good calligrapher but arthritis in my hands put paid to that.

I'm currently creating a garden with a corner reserved for herbs too.

I do and good on you for remembering, my sons girlfriend is very talented with her drawings, I've introduced her to rotering pens as she was just pencil drawing so not really able to get the detail she wanted.

I make clothing, costumes, and quilts. (Amongst other things). I also sketch.

I used to do photography as my creative outlet, but then I made that my job and had to find something else to keep my brain ticking over.

I crochet (have done for a very long time), I have a loft full of wool. I colour in, I make books, button and brooch bouquets, anything with buttons actually.

But my favourite (but also the most expensive) I customise Blythe dolls (you'd probably have to Google them), from start to finish. I completely reroot the hair and give them luscious new locks. I carve their faces, give them new eyes and lashes and customise their little faces.

I can't sit still without having something in my hand.

Next project, steampunking nerf guns

Colouring, drawing, origami, I once made a heart ornament thing out of copper wire which I really like and is sitting on my book shelf, I made a cushion for my sister, I used to like those foil things but they're so fiddly, jigsaws (although I think 3ftx1ft is a bit big!, painting, there's probably more but I can't think of much

It's gorgeous! I'm up to 18 books and christ knows how many pens & pencils. Though I'm currently concentrating on Enchanted Forest as my mum's bought me Lost Ocean for Easter, which is by the samr woman.

Mandy does the painting by numbers. She started with the smaller ones and slowly got better and now does the larger ones. She also colours and has slowly developed some skill when it comes to more freehand art. It's amazing how crafting has really returned to many peoples lives.

I am rubbish at any of it to be honest, but I enjoy writing instead and spend a great deal of time using words as an artform.

I tend to use the Scribblicious fine liners from The Works - which are really good but the dark shades bleed into others - and my Marco Raffine pencils which are stunning

Oooh where to start!!!

I overflow with creativity lol I express it in various ways, in my Music/Drawing/Painting/photography/sewing/felt work/jewelry/Glass work/wire and welding artwork/terrarium arrangements/etc...

I am kinda addicted to creating something everyday

But I like it that way.

Have fun with your new arty stuff x

Ooh, are scraperfoils still around? I used to absolutely love them when I was younger! When my nan died, she had about 20 of them in her house that I'd done and sent to her as presents. My crafty ability now is pretty much zero, I used to do loads as a child though.
