Well it looks like this is finally going in to production, bruckhiemer and cruise have been having a little chat about it, this would be one sequal I would really like to see. |

To be fair I never thought much of top gun to start with. Very clichéd and poorly scripted....not Cruise's best moments.
Can't see the desire for a sequel (apart from money of course) |

There is a film with Helen Hunt, Eric Stoltz and several others where there is a kitchen scene at a party featuring Tarantino ranting about all the gay references in top gun. Very funny |

Cocky young navel pilot, arrives at top gun to take his place among the best if the best, he just happens to be the son of goose, top guns finest instructors best pal, co pilot, brother, however, he holds maverick responsible for the death if his father, can little goose stop his ego from ruining his chance of being the best of the best?. Will he lay to rest the ghosts of the past? will he play volleyball against maverick ? That'd how I think it should go |
