Has anyone built their own 3D printer? There are so many versions and variations online. Can anyone recommend one that they built themselves?

Build from scratch, I know the extractor head has to be bought as well as the filament.

I'm more interested in the servos, servo drivers and control board. I'm guessing an arduino is needed. And what software is needed?

I've made a cnc router machine using the momus design plans and mach 3 software. Same design principles I guess.
