I'd say that it depends on the setting - the op didn't give us too much information. Gay/bi male bathhouses would usually be semi-naked, for example.
Generally most of us, whatever our sexualities, would check on admission demands before visiting a club or party.

Because a made up(as in make up) TV isn't really going to fit into most gay scene's, or the preferences of most guests
