I used to enjoy maths but was rubbish at it. Still got a B at GCSE though.

I really hated woodwork. Still scraped a C but I think that was more to do with the art and design elements.

English!

I took O level 4 times, first time was 2y after I came over here, got an U (Unclassified). Took it again 6 months later, got an E, then another 6 months later, another E, and took it again when I did my A levels, and got another U!

Good job I got a B in my A/O General Papers, and other English qualifications, in order to enable me to go to uni!

might be something to do with renting out porno mags to the other kids from the drying racks rather than concentrating on painting a bowl of fruit though

Geography, despite my dad having travelled widely with the Merchant Navy, he and my teachers just couldn't get anything through to me.

Once I started to travel myself though I learned a bit more.....however I can still get lost in a car park or forget where my room is in an Hotel!

What got me about PE at my school, was they made us do hockey in the middle of winter, outside, and in summer, it was scottish country dancing/volleyball, inside. Now if they had just changed them round, im sure it wouldnt have be as bad.

I hate being cold.

Breaking the shell of frost from your legs and the hockey stick was terrible if you stood about in defence like I did.

Oh and surprise, surprise… I asked too many questions in religious studies… such as “prove it” and ones which started with “If God was able to that, why doesn’t God do something about…..”

Thank fuck I didn't have to do it after year 3.

We played shinty at school but it was an outdoor, winter/ spring sport. The month of December was set aside for (indoor) Scottish Country Dancing lessons in preparation for the Xmas festivities.

Come April/ May the emphasis changed to athletics in the run up to school sports day just before the end of term.

Mine was PE, absolutely hated it. The worst part was netball teams being picked, I was always last and the kids who got me always moaned. I didnt see why I had to do it, I was never gonna be in the olympics, I hate sport.

I struggled with Maths too, I had to really work at it to try and understand

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Art. I was useless. Spent two years messing about with a future Welsh rugby captain, 'drawing' polar bears in blizzards, close-ups of talcum powder spillages and all sorts.

Maths, Chemistry and PE - yuk

English and History - my faves

And it never changed. As a mature student I scraped through a Maths GCSE but got a degree in English and History. Some people just aren't right brained enough for numbers and 'absolutes'!

Just never saw the logic in it, though i do remember pythagorus therorum lol, and i do see that when im working out how to adjust a rent account so its correct but a + b = c, not possible, 2 + 2 = 4, now thats normal to me

It's that lesson where you made Ninja throwing stars before being banned from the metalwork labs for life, isn't it chaps?

Chaps?

Hmmm, must have just been me then.

My best subject was "Answering Back".
