Titz Towers, North Notts

I've thought about this and I'm naturally slim built, I walk the dog at a brisk pace and I get plenty of kip. I think if I were to spend a few hours a week at the gym, I wouldn't appreciate the extra time when I'm in my 90s, but I do appreciate the free time now.

Mint aero bubble anyone?

For me, Rach, it's running, x trainer, weights and some fitness programs like Les Mills. Once both kids in school full time then I'll male more use of the sports centre.

For R... you make it he does it. Mainly gym, cycling, footy and volleyball though.

Done most popular stuff over the year's, although I have core stuff I keep returning to (swimming, cycling, running) I tend to go thru phases, if you can call being a triathlete for 20years a phase.

But in no particular order, yoga, step class, aerobics, circuit training, karate, kickboxing, pilates, boxing, basketball, climbing, track cycling, open water swimming, masters swim club, running all distance in ultra, road cycling including time trials, triathlon Inc ironman.

Currently just enjoying going to the gym and working out with jools.

Been sporty all my life apart from a brief hiatus following a head injury.

And guess what ended up with type two diabetes and high cholesterol.

Go figure.

Personally my advice, a little exercise in moderation, regularly combined with a reasonable diet is more than enough.

Yukky aero, minty burps for rest of the evening.

Pretzels are my weapon of choice.

Some gym classes not loads though and no way obsessed like a lot of gym goers. I do enjoy a bum and tums class, Powerhoop and circuits. That's about it. Love the social side of the gym and the girls nights in/out.

"I love the idea of bwing super fit but never stick at exercise long :/"

It's an amazing feeling knowing that you can do pretty much anything you want, however it does become all consuming and very narcissistic.

And there is always someone faster, fitter, stronger...

Just being healthy is more important these day's.

I am by no means slim but I am reasonably fit.

I do it for the rush, not for appearance/s x
