People who tap the top of microphones really REALLY piss me off, they are implying I can't do my job properly. Repeat offenders are worst, as they step up to the mic, despite being told "DO NOT TAP THE MICROPHONE, IT WILL WORK WHEN YOU SPEAK INTO IT, TRUST ME", when I see them fumbling about to give it a whack, I mute it until they stop tapping....but they tap until they can hear the thud....etc etc. Fuckwits.
