What age and how?

Was listening to the radio this morning about David Beckham atempting to tell Brooklyn about the 'birds and the bees' (he could not go through with it kept going red in the face so got Victoria to do it)

What age were you and how was the 'birds and the bees' explained to you?

Personally my father sat my 2 older brothers and I together when we were between 15-18 and said... I am probably a bit late now but your mother said I have to have this chat!

never had "the chat" at home, it just wasn't something my parents could have done.

Had a bit of sex ed at school in biology class when we were about 13-14

Our mother always told us what we needed to know when we asked a question.

When my daughter asked "Mum where did I come from?" I sat her down with all my books especially designed for telling children about sex, spent a long time telling her in a way she would understand for her to turn around and say "Mum I know all that I wanted to know where I was born!" lol

School sex ed, a medical book of my mums and two parents who had the patience to sit and listen and talk with me when I was around age 11.

Funniest bit in the sex education bit of the medical book was the advice that the lady may want to put one of her husbands handkerchiefs under her pillow on her wedding night......wonder why.... tears, floods or a nosebleed? xxx

Dad to son: "......and that's where babies come from..."

Son to Dad: "ok. lemme get this straight: so, first there's a momma bird and a poppa bird and then you tell me the birds actually have sex with the bees?

What kinda disconnected interspecies bullshit is this? Get your shit straight, Dad".

My Dad told me all about the birda snd the bees when I was 13, he said, Son....

"To make the mummy birds and bees do exactly what you want them to do every now and again you have to give them a good nobbing"

he added

"The trick is to make it last the full 2 minutes"

And I listened to my Dad which is why on my profile it has alwyas said I make sex last the full 2 minutes

in the night garden

My Dad told me about the birds and the bees, I think he got embarassed and fumbled parts of it because the very next day I followed his instructions and I got stung on my cock.

I never got the "talk" from anyone, I just picked it up in sex education when I was in my early teens at school and through watching a mates parents hidden porn tapes.

It depends upon the child but when puberty kicks in is always a good time to tell them.

I never had that chat with my dad, learnt most of it from sex education. Which they are now teaching to younger and younger kids, and now younger and younger kids become parents!

pmsl @ that! My mum told me all about it when i was about 7 she figured if i knew about it when really young the knowledge would just be absorbed and not made in to a big thing, It worked, when all my mates at school were whispering and nudging each other about S.E.X. I was like yeah yeah yeah knew THAT already lol but its the B.Js and 69s and the orgasms and all the other wonderful things i had to find out about myself (which was and still is fun)

Never had the chat at home at all, I must have heard snippets at school and slowly pieced the information together.

But, that said, I still dont actually know how bees do it

I think the conversation happened, but I cant remember when. I have probably blocked it out for ever and ever! lol

Thing is my brother's 13 years older than me, so I think I knew a bit early anyway

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I don't recall ever being told or shown anything, so for all I know I'm still a virgin.

Anyone want to complete my education?
