So why are we so low? At number 21?

1 - Switzerland

2 - Iceland

3 - Denmark

4 - Norway

5 - Canada

6 - Finland

7 - Netherlands

8 - Sweden

9 - New Zealand

10 - Australia

15 - USA

21 - UK

Countries like Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands have high levels of immigration, higher social provision, higher taxes. So why are we only ranking at 21?

Probably because, on the whole, we have become a materialistic society but one day we will wake up and realise that stuff doesn't bring you happiness.
