This is my 5th or 6th profile I think... Each time I just deleted without warning and vanished. No need to cry about it or beg for sympathy. If you decide to leave just bloody well leave.  |

I'd say goodbye on my status and on the forums - because I have made a lot of really good friends on here - and I'd want to say goodbye to all and swap numbers with some of them before I left! Xx |

Well I haven't left yet and after 2 years I've no plans to.
I think the only thing to make me leave now would be if I met somebody, it became a serious relationship and she wasn't interested in swinging. Then I would just post a status message and maybe send a goodbye message to my closer friends on here. |

I sometimes think if someone is moving on or just had enough a nice message saying goodbye in the forums is quite lovely.
However if it's just a blatant attempt to garner some please don't go sympathy then that is rather shit. |

I like knowing when some other'shave left the site.
I do get tempted to leave personally so far I just hide everytime I've had enough.
When I go I think I'll just be gone. |

I took about a 3 month break from the site over the Winter, just hid my profile so it was there again for when I was ready to come back. No dramas or owt like that!
But to be honest if and when I ever decide to permanently leave and even if I did start up a new thread about it, I have no doubt it'll leave hardly any ripples on here and soon it'll plunge into obscurity so there would be no point making a big fanfare about it!  |

I probably would post on the forum then delete as soon as I'd posted it. I talk enough crap on here as it is I feel like a little sayonara would be normal for me!

As somebody said higher up. Hide your profile and take a break. If you then think nah feck it Ive had enough i would then message anybody that i was in regular contact with and then do one. Posting on the forum would just cause a shitstorm against you. I might consider doing it for giggles however lol. Seriously it serves not purpose. |

Hiding my profile wouldn't work for me because I'd log back in at some point.
I've disappeared from the site (as in not logged in) many times on here in the past when I've needed time out. |

I did a 3 month C after contemplating a D. It was very cathartic! 
Came back refreshed and renewed and glad I didn't do a D and have to start again from scratch! |

I've had a few profiles since 2011 and each time I've just deleted it but I never used the forums until this time round.
The only thing that would make me leave this place is if I got a boyfriend, but even then I don't think I would delete it cos I don't use this place for meeting I only use the forums. If and when I get dating someone again the combined knowledge on this forum is going to occupy me and hopefully stop me being crazy so a relationship can develop. |
