i have just changed to the iphone4 - but thats because im a sad apple freak
but there are i am finding some social apps on there which are a poor imitation of swing sites - dick wavers mainly - but a real giggle
has anyone else found any?

basically with regards to "social networking" apps... everyone is waiting on the straight version of "grindr" to come out (been promised by the end of the year)

i know its sad isnt it - i have 2 iphones (work and pvt) and a macpro - hate using my work lap top
as for apps i have 37 but not many games - always interested in looking at the new ones though
i keep being told to get Bump but im not keen on that one

however we got told about the app called ipoo today and it seems you can see who is taking a crap in your local area with it.

Is that an app? I had to save the IP address in my bookmarks to get that one. Sex positions is quite fun!! Re bump, if you use crowded trains I wouldn't I ended up with unknown pics of this strange baby thing on my phone? |

Just looked and it's no longer an app, just a web site. I've still got the app installed on my iPhone but you don't need it any longer just go to the tvcatchup website now. |

There's an app for the gay/bi market called Grindr which allows you find other gay/bi guys in your area!! Apparently they're considering releasing a 'straight' version of the app - it could be fun or scary depending on your outlook.
That said, I've gone off Apple entirely, Android is the future!! |

It's along story involving volcanoes and a trip to Florida, the end result was I had time to kill and it had just been launched in the USA LOL. But you're right no one needs an iPad, although I have stopped using my laptop at home in favour of the iPad so it is convenient. |

see.. this is where i give myself up as dull, I have a few news ones "bbc news, usa today, msnbc"
couple of weather ones, audio book ones, sport ones, travel ones, and a few games.....

Nothing beats Angry Birds! I can't wait for each update.
Aside from the usual Sky Sports, Amazon, BBC news etc I also have Animatch that the kids love plus an RSPB garden birds one (bang go my chances of ever getting a meet on here again! Lol). |

It's the lack of a Flash plug-in on iPhone/Pads that stops us using chat on it. Apple has consciously blocked the use of Flash because it's a drain on batteries and a security threat. Apparently if you jailbreak your iDevice you can run Flash and therefore chat but it's not ready for prime-time yet.
Anyone tried the talking cat app yet? It's good for 5 minutes of entertainment, it's basically a cat that repeats what you say in a silly voice but is surprisingly amusing especially when it swears.

apple and adobe fell out years ago over something else... so this was apples way of getting back at them...
adobe were working on getting flash compatible for the iphone, until apple told them they would never authorise it as an app.... |

I looked into what you had to do to install Frash and it was a right arse on, Not too complicated just a faff, I'll wait til they develop a proper installer |
