£50,000 ~ I would update my house, fix all the annoyingly broken things that I've lived with for years ~ whilst that was happening I'd be on a plane to Oz for an extended holiday with family..  |

On the basis that we are normally far too conservative and sensible and that it was unexpected and therefore wouldn't be missed if I didn't have it, I would go to Vegas, never been, would fly first class, stay in the best hotel for a week, do everything that can be done and with what was left stick it on black (or maybe red!). It would be nice to be able to be totally decadent. |

£5k for the trip of a lifetime to the Lotus Flower Tower, a mountain in remote northern Canada - the rest in the bank to support my son through uni, and yes of course a chunk for charity too. |
