Gargling warm salt water helps too or even better gargle with disolvable aspirin if you have any. And more importantly remember it's a Bank Holiday Monday.

Going to sound daft here but what is oil of cloves?

Normally when it comes to pain a bottle of malt and a few co-codamol's help.

Its a natural analgaesic and antiispetic, its brill for toothache, but it stinks. Im no that keen on malt but right now I would love some(or any alchol), to take this pain away.

"try your local a n e department some have a dental unit and there cheaper"

Foned NHS 24 the day, got an appointment at the local hospitals dental unit 2moro. No matter what treatment I need they cant charge me more than £30!!!!! That shocked me, a check up and clean and polish isnt a kick in the arse off that, from a normal dentist. No wonder they keep it quiet, cause I wouldnt have thought to phone about toothache, normally would have waited till I could get an appointment with my dentist, but in so much pain cant wait. So thanks for the advice.

I get my 6 monthly check up and a clean and polish from my private dentist for free. I would assume its the same with the NHS?

Since the SNP came in they have introduced free dental charges.

Its strange that you pay for your check ups and i don't.
